Great visual! I loved digging holes when I was younger. We would dig in the park and put plywood over the hole so we can work on it the next day!

Your fighting attitude in the midst of battering walls coming at you in your life has always inspired me. A lesser man would have thrown up his arms in the face of so much discouragement coming from others as God spoke dreams into your life!I am proud of you! And i apologize for telling you,you sucked at the trumpet and for selling the one gifted to you. One of my not so brilliant moments.
I am so excited to see what your battering attitude will bring forth in the months to come as you and Faithful, Steadfast Melodie begin planting Majestic Bean and Boulder County Community Church.

Love You Both!

Interesting path to a church plant.

Makes me think of a time when I was in India teaching. A young MAPS worker and his wife had me over for dinner at their house. After dinner, he asked, "Dr. Brueggemann, do you like good coffee?" I had been drinking mostly instant coffee there (ugh!), so I was pretty happy to answer yes and look forward to a good cuppa'.

I was figuring that he probably brought his own beans and kept them frozen, to grind them as he used them. But NO. He got out a small coffee roaster, took it to the front step, and proceeded to roast that evening's portion. THEN he ground them, brewed it, and served it. Slow, but GREAT!

Now there was a coffee lover. As a MAPS worker, he had a very small allowance for luggage and belongings. And he used some of that precious space for a roaster, a grinder, and a good coffee machine. Maybe you should call him to come join your church planting team. Except I think he's still working in India.

Hi Kim,

Thank you for your kind words. I am familiar with Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. I think I read and article some where about the work you guys are doing and how you use coffee to support your ministry. I love the idea. I would love to find a way for our shop to partner with you in some way!

God Bless!!

I received a link to this blog off of Debby Seler's facebook page....I enjoyed reading your journey with coffee! My husband and I are missionaries to Jamaica. We run a children's home in the Blue Mountains and also grow Blue Mountain coffee.....It helps sustain the home.

The Lord bless you in your endeavors....Kim
